SULTAN THEATRE GROUP

Sultan Theatre Group is an amateur drama society with lots of enthusiasm, a passion for performing and we're proud to say that we don't take 'acting' too seriously. For all of us, acting is a hobby, our way of escaping the 'real world' and having a bit of FUN.

Our members consist of a mixture of multi-talented performers and back stage crew taken from a wide variety of RN serving members, MOD civil servants, friends, family, civilians and children from within the local area.

We take pride in the quality of our public performances. We usually produce two shows a year: a show in the spring (usually late March/early April)  for which rehearsals start in early January; and a family Pantomime before Christmas (usually the last week in November) for which rehearsals begin in early September. Rehearsals take place at HMS Sultan on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm onwards.

We welcome anyone and we are always on the lookout for new members to help out with all aspects of our productions, both on stage and behind the scenes.
